Hi! I’m Sylvie.

I’m a journalist and writer living in the Hudson Valley, NY. I often write about food, culture, travel, and individuals doing things I find particularly interesting.

I have an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University.

In a past life, I helped launch restaurants and pop-up shops (and ate a lot) at the food culture agency, Care of Chan. I also worked alongside journalists, game designers, and chefs at The New York Times

My writing has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, Architectural Digest, Edible Magazine, Domino.com, Cool Material, and FOUND.
