Hi! I’m Sylvie. I’m a freelance writer living in Brooklyn, NY. I often write about food, culture, and individuals doing things I find particularly interesting.

In the fall of 2023, I received a MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University.

In a past life, I helped launch restaurants and pop-up shops (and ate a lot) at the food culture agency, Care of Chan. I also worked alongside journalists, game designers, and chefs at The New York Times.
